I eat my yard! Do you eat yours?

I recently watched a Ted Talk on " How we can eat our landscapes" by Pam Warhurst.  Pam outlines how she and a small team of volunteers turned a love of gardening and unused land into personal responsibility and kindness to each other. I love gardening.  I love the fresh vegetables and fruit that I grow.  When I serve a meal that I  produced from tiny seeds in our back yard, everything tastes better.  The eggs, or butt nuggets as the twins like to call them have spoiled us.  I can no longer eat eggs at a restaurant.   Spending time working in the garden and tending to our animals helps keep me grounded.  It brings peace and joy to my life, and it balances everything out. I often daydream about what it would be like to win the "Big Lotto." I would purchase a huge plot of land.  I would provide my community with a place for families and children to learn how to take care of the earth.  A place where vegetables are grown...

Why Home Buyers Need a  REALTOR®  Do you know that Home Buyers don't pay a commission?  It's Saturday morning, and an open house ad pops up on Facebook. The ad shows a picture-perfect home with two cats in the front yard. The caption reads, "Stop Renting – Start Owning." As you flip through the photos, you are getting more and more excited. The final image is directing you to "Stop by the open house today; we have financing options to help you go from tenant to homeowner." Should you go? Navigating the ins and outs of a real estate transaction are complicated. Real estate has a language of its own. Abbreviations, forms galore, and complicated legal language which must be understood and followed.
